Jpegcrop is a utility program for lossless manipulation of JPEG images.
It is especially important for digital camera users. Jpegcrop utilizes
special code from the Independent JPEG Group software, contributed by
the author of this utility. Jpegcrop achieves its goal by avoiding
recompression of image data for the specified operations. The original
image file is reread from mass storage and transformed specially when
doing the "Save As..." command. The loaded and displayed image is only
for visualization and interactive determination of the desired
manipulation.
