Sep 13, 2003 13:59:31 by Happy User Once you have used this program for a week or so, you will discover an abundance of features not available in any other PIM...I have downloaded dozens of PIM's but have never been satisfied with any one of them until PIMEX. PIMEX outperforms even Outlook 2000, in my opinion, and I'm now in the process of transferring all my Outlook info into PIMEX...The abundant features of the Address Book alone are worth the $34.95! I have never seen such a versatile Address Book before!..Enter some info into each module, use the help file, right-click everywhere to discover more features, and you, too, will problably say like I do every day: "Wow! I can't believe it will do that!"...Be sure you are downloading the most recent build: Version 1.08.5. I am definitely looking forward to future upgrades...Genius of a program! Thank you PIMEX developers! | Sep 12, 2003 11:28:54 by gorgonzola In a very short time, this program has become an indispensable tool to me, for tracking not only contacts (multiple addresses and phone numbers), but also birthdays and anniversaries, and calendar events. (It has a password protected diary too!) Although some PIMs seem much more designed for business use, this one is equally suitable for home use as well. (It allows me to easily track/remember birthdays and anniversaries of everyone in a family.) I have found the label printing feature especially helpful. (It even will include bar codes.) I probably won't hand address an envelope ever again. I can pick the start point on a page of labels, so I can print a single label in PIMEX easily and more quickly than addressing an envelope. My printer has no problem with partial sheets of labels.) I also like the selection/sort features, which for instance, allow me to select out all the birthdays for a particular month (you can even order them in calendar order) and then quickly print a sheet of labels for those birthdays. It's very easy to set up separate address books for business and personal use, but I also created an address book for each person in my family to use for their friends/contacts, and it's simple and fast to switch from one address book to another. I'm sure I haven't even tapped into 1/2 of the software's capabilities ... otherwise I would write more about its features! But even at this point, I feel that the money for this program was VERY well spent. Last, but not least, the tech support and customer support is absolutely OUTSTANDING. So many software companies have grown so large that it is impossible to get anything more than a canned response re: tech issues. PIMEX has the BEST customer service I have seen in years! |
